Three turtles

Also new at the Carousel are these 3 cute turtles, and the background filigree stamp as well. I embossed in disco black, then painted with twinkling H2O's.

New Hero Arts!

Hero arts new butterflies!! I colored them in with copic spica markers and some stickles here and there, then shaded in with 2 shades of green ink. I found this at Carousel Rubber Stamp in Dartmouth.

Cuppycake with Huggabug on top!

Isn't this the cutest stamp ever? It's another one from Stampin Bella, I made this as part of a sketch challenge on the Bloggabella website. I used tombow markers for watercoloring, stickles for sparkles, and copic spica pens for the cherries. Love the cupcake paper too!

Cruise Ship

I'm still chipping away at these vacation photos! Here we are in Curacao, I wanted a picture of the ship to show how enormous it is! The chipboard on the bottom left is glimmer misted, the journal tag is the top note die by Stampin Up!, the title is WRMK. The paper and embellies came from the April kit by Scraptivity!

Cheeky monkey

Isn't this the cutest monkey ever? I paper pieced his pj top to make it look like flannel pj's, used tombow markers for the watercoloring and some stickles on the steam from the coffee cups. Paper is SU!

Martini anyone?

This is a stamp by Stampin Bella, love the martini glass. I think I'll try it again with tombow markers next time, but I used some turquoise stickles on this one to add some sparkle, and a little bit of shimmerz paint over the markers.

Mother's day card

I've had this stamp by Stampin Up! for a long time but this is the first time stamping it. And I really like how this turned out! There is a lot of sparkle in the grass/flowers but it's hard to tell on the scan. And I love the little Robin's Nest dew drops.

Happy Snowman!

Isn't this the cutest stamp ever! I painted him with H2O's, then used white shimmerz paint for the snowman and stripes on the candle. I picked this up in Ontario at Scrapfest, it's from a company out of BC called Local King Rubber Stamp.
