So, I finally made a card last night for the first time in forever!! I followed the sketch for Bellarific Friday this week and wanted to keep the background simple to let the stamped image take center stage! I embossed the balloon, then painted it with twinkling H2O's, then added ranger glossy effects on the daisy. I love pink and orange together, this is for a little girls bday that my kids are invited to this weekend.
I love this stamp. I love embossing it with gold embossing powder and then painting in with twinkling H2O's. It's a larger stamp, I find it looks wonderful on 5 1/2 square cards. And this is a fitting post since we had a few snow flurries this afternoon!! Yes, winter is coming, the sooner I accept that, the better off I'll be. 
A little late to be going into the mail for Mother's Day, but what can I say, sometimes life is too busy for hobbies. Anyhow, I know my Mom and Mother-in-law will enjoy the cards regardless of the day they show up in the mailbox! This is a stamp by Sunshine Designs that I painted in with H2O's. It is also based on the TESC111 sketch. 
Also new at the Carousel are these 3 cute turtles, and the background filigree stamp as well. I embossed in disco black, then painted with twinkling H2O's.
I've had this butterfly by Artful Stamper for a couple of years now, and still love it. I embossed this with sparkly gold ep, and painted in with twinkling h2o in hot cinnamon. I'm actually sending this to a friend with a little gift as a Valentine card.
