Still trying to finish up Christmas cards! I love this stamp, I think he's so cute, it's a stamping bella image. The die-cut snowflakes are from Stampin Up! I used prismacolor pencils to color and the edge is distressed in memento Desert Sand.

Teacher's cards

Tomorrow is the last day of school before Christmas vacation, so I made 2 cards for the girls teachers today. They each told me what image they thought their teacher would like last night and were pleased with the results today! The snowman is stamping bella, the trees are artful stamper. I used kiwi glitter ritz on the matt of the tree card.

I was in the mood to make one more card this morning, and I just love this image by Stamping Bella. There really is something special about enjoying a really good cup of coffee. Anyhow, I think there will be more cards featured on this blog from here until Christmas, I must get going on making my Christmas cards. I can't believe it's the 2nd week of November already!

Bellarific Friday Sketch

I am in desperate need of restocking my card rack, especially now with birthday party season underway. So, I took advantage of the sketch provided at Stamping Bella this week and used a huggabug image by Christy Croll to color.

Cosmobella

Decided to make a card tonight for a change- first time inking this Cosmobella stamp from Stamping Bella. The coral base paper is new from stamping up this year, and the patterned paper is Cosmo Cricket. This is based on the SSSC 124 from the Sweetest Thing.

Amanda's Wedding Card

One of Steve`s employees is getting married on Saturday, so I made this card for her last night. The stamp is by Stamping Bella, the circle doiley is a Martha Stewart die-cut. I used pebbles shimmer chalk on her dress and I used the latest sketch (SSC 123) from the blog The Sweetest Thing!

A friend of ours is getting married on Saturday, so I made this card for her. The stamp is by Stamping Bella, I used pebbles shimmer chalk on the dress which gives it a nice sparkle. Hard to tell in the photo though.

Father's Day Card

Here is a card for my Dad (who is a farmer, and always plants a huge garden) for Father's Day. The stamp is from Stamping Bella, I used prismacolors to color. I'm trying to use up some leftover paper from last week's stamp-a-stack, so you may see similar color combos more than once!!

Baby Shower card

It is so cold and windy outside today, I probably should have done the photo in the house-I realize now that it looks a little blurry. Anyhow, I have a shower to go to tomorrow, so I decided on these images from Stamping Bella. I cut out each clothespin and the little clothes, then colored with prismacolor pencils.

SSSC 109

I used sketch 109 from the sweetest thing blog for the inspiration for this card. The stamp is from Stamping Bella, SU! paper, and the vine on the bottom is from the hostess Apple Blossum set by SU! I may also use this as my 3rd card for an upcoming Stamp a stack in May that myself and some friends are hosting. Participants make 24 cards in a day, 12 different designs, leave a comment if you want details!

Beerafella

Here is another of the 4 cards. I wanted to do a masculine card, they are always a little harder to do. The patterned paper is from My Mind's Eye and the stamp is by Stamping Bella. I colored it with SU! markers, espresso, baja breeze, pumpkin pie and daffodil delight.

Bellarific Friday

So, I finally made a card last night for the first time in forever!! I followed the sketch for Bellarific Friday this week and wanted to keep the background simple to let the stamped image take center stage! I embossed the balloon, then painted it with twinkling H2O's, then added ranger glossy effects on the daisy. I love pink and orange together, this is for a little girls bday that my kids are invited to this weekend.

I made this card for my friend's birthday with a new stamp from Bella. I used a punched heart from SU! red glitter paper on the cup. Too cute!

SSSC 106 and a new Bella stamp

My new Bella stamps arrived last week, so I decided to use Little Peeps Birthday Cake for the Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge today. My oldest daughter's bday is in March, and she said she really liked this stamp, so now I must hide this card away until her big day! This card covers the SSSC challenge, and also the Bloggabella challenge to use the color aquamarine in a card. Hope you're having a good day!

Here is a card I made for a birthday party Claire is going to today. The background paper is new from My Mind's Eye and the stamp is Stamping Bella. I colored with prismacolor pencils, used some glitter ritz on the cupcake and copic spica pens on her headband and clothes. I used today's sketch from the Sweetest Thing blog.

Appley huggagbug

I used the SSSC99 for the sketch of this card. I love Sundays and seeing what the new sketch is so that I have something to follow when making a card. I used a Christy Croll image (sold at Stamping Bella) for the sketch, and colored her in with stampin up markers. Love putting rangers glossy accents on the apples-makes them look so real. Glitter ritz on her wings too.

Santa's clothes a dryin

I embossed this Stamping Bella image in disco black, then painted with twinkling H2O's. I added liquid applique to the fur. The background paper is SU!

This is a bday card for my good friend Joanna (hope she doesn't check this today!). I still have to run this over to her. I love this stamp, 2 girls sharing a latte together, oh you can just imagine the conversation!! Happy Birthday Joanna!

Sk8ter boy

Here is one more card with the same color scheme, I used this little skateboard boy by Stamping Bella. I think he's so cute, and different for me to color since I mainly do girlie cards! I used glossy accents on his glasses as well to make them shine.
