Each month I get a scrapbook kit in the mail from Scraptivity! and this layout features the Fancy Pants paper that I received in the kit. This is a picture of Claire proudly sporting her new hat that looks like Auntie Laura's.

Last thank you

Here's the last thank you card for Charlotte's preschool teacher. I brayered the background with desert sun Kalediscope ink pad. I learned that using the brayer on a foam stamping pad improves the look of the ink a lot!

This is a cute set from the Stampin Up! mini catalogue called Scene in a garden. Again, I used watercolor pencils to color the scene. The flowers are both cream colored but I painted the red one with Shimmerz paint.

I bought this stamp at the Carousel this week, I thought it would be perfect for teacher thank you cards. I used watercolor pencils, SU! blender pen and some stickles for extra sparkle!

Another Stamping Bella stamp! I just love them! I painted this with twinkling H2O's. It's just such a cheery little stamp, and fun to paint.

A flower for all Seasons

This little frog by SU! is so cute. I think it just makes the card feel cheery. I used watercolor pencils to color this time, Robin's Dew Drops in the corners. The rest is SU paper-this is the 3rd card I did in my class last week.

This is a retired stamp by SU! but I just love it. It's perfect for summer, we did this card at my last class, using watercolor crayons, glitter and crystal effects.

Every year, Carousel Rubber Stamps has Christmas in July. I'm making a few samples for the store and here's one I came up with-Stampendous elves. Painted with H2O's and embossed in disco black.

Steve's birthday card

I made this for Steve's 39th birthday last Tuesday, but it also served as one of the cards we made for the class I did on Thursday! How's that for dual purpose? Anyhow, stamps and paper are all Stampin Up! I love this tree, it's so beautiful, lots of glitter on the leaves in real life.

Russian Doll

This is a simple card I made last night for Carousel Rubber Stamps. I used the new Quickutz embossing folder and the little Russian Doll reminds me of one that my Aunt Lucy had. I used to play with it when I visited her house, and was amazed at how little the wooden dolls became, but still painted with so much detail!
