This is my sister's b-day card, just popped it in the mail today, hopefully it gets to her before the 6th. This is a Stamping bella stamp, My Mind's Eye paper, and prismacolor pencils. The colors are so much prettier in person, I'm wondering if something is wrong with the scanner! May have to start taking photos instead.

Glitter Ritz
I put some Ranger glossy accents inside these trees, then sprinkled with different colors of glitter ritz. ( One at a time). I'm glad to see the glitter sticks well with the glossy accents, not only the sookwang tape. My friend Joanna, gave me a very similar card for xmas, so I totally copied the idea from her! Hi Joanna!!!

More teacher's gifts
I made these little milk cartons and filled them with specialty coffee and hot chocolate for the teachers at Charlotte's school that have been helping her so much! They loved them. I bought this tutorial online from Inking Idaho LAST Christmas, and am finally getting around to making them. And they look harder than they are. Stamps are by Stampin Up!, some paper by SU! and the blue boxes are Colorful Christmas by My Mind's Eye. Ribbon is SU! too.

How cute is this??
I made this little box for one of my daughter's teachers. It has 4 3x3 note cards (or could be used as gift tags) and 3 hershey's nuggets chocolates in the center. I think I'll make a few more of these. I found the tutorial on Inking Idaho for the dimensions and some samples. The snowflakes are from Spellbinders and I used some glitter ritz on them. Patterned paper is My Mind's Eye.

I won a contest!!! Guest Designer for Canadian Scrapbooker magazine
I can finally post my layouts that I made for the December issue of Canadian Scrapbooker magazine. I was so lucky to win a spot (a contest from Scraptivity) as Guest Designer for both Dec and March issues. Now that it is in the stores, I can show the layouts I did. Here's one from the cruise we took last year, it's all 7 Gypsies paper. I made the flowers on my Slice.

Fudge, our hamster
Here's our cutie, fudge. Still alive and doing well and he's 2 months old ( I heard they have a short life span!). Anyhow, love these american crafts puffy stickers, the mushroom and hedgehog are by Sassafras. Claire asked me why I had a hedgehog on the layout- I said it was the closest thing I could find to a hamster! Tough crowd!

Serendipity stamps!!
Prima stamp
Here is the other stamp that is part of the Scraptivity kit. I embossed it with black versafine, then embossed with Stampendous disco black embossing powder. The white paper is embossed with a flower template that was also part of the kit. The cardstock this month was co'ordinations, so when I sanded the black paper with a sanding block, the yellow showed right through. Too cool!

Witch's Brew anyone??
I made a Halloween card last night for World Cardmaking Day, and there is NO STAMPING on this card!! It's all rubons! I'm participating in a craft show on October 17th and am trying to make some cards, and finish sewing baby blankets and aprons!! And make chocolate Halloween suckers. Hopefully, some of it sells!

Patience
Right now......
I am allowed to post that I have won a spot on the Scraptivity! design team for a year!! Hooray, I am so excited about this. And this layout was one of our challenges, we had to use inchies. Little one inch squares that are painted, embellishes etc.

Bellarific Friday entry
Here is my take on the Bellarific Friday sketch from Bloggabella. I used prismacolor pencils to color the image, stickles on the wings and glossy accents on all hearts (hard to see in the scan). But I just love this little car, every time Charlotte sees one driving down the road she says "Mom, look, it's a mini-beetle"
