Love cupid

This looks much more sparkly in real life, but this is also all Tim Holtz's grungeboard. I painted in the cupid with jasper red H2O, then sponged gold metallic paint around the edges. The love letters were embossed with disco black embossing powder. I think I'll be leaving these cards at the Carousel for Dejah for awhile. Thanks for looking!

Valentine's card

This card was inspired by a card I saw in the winter Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. Except I used grungeboard hearts sponged in with red and pomengranate ink. Stickles in platinum on the heart.

Charlotte's 4th birthday card

This card is for my daughter's birthday on Tuesday! I love cupcakes right now, so this is one of my favorite stamps by Impression Obsession. I painted it in with twinkling H2O's after embossing in disco black by Stampendous. SU! paper, the stamp, brown flower and H2O's can be found at Carousel Rubber Stamps.

Butterfly card

I've had this butterfly by Artful Stamper for a couple of years now, and still love it. I embossed this with sparkly gold ep, and painted in with twinkling h2o in hot cinnamon. I'm actually sending this to a friend with a little gift as a Valentine card.

My Mom in 1958

I've always loved this photo of my Mom, and since it was just sitting in a box at home, I decided to take it and make a scrapbook page of it. And I love the way it turned out. I hope she likes it!

Good timing!

On our way to the beach in Aruba, we walked through a hotel lobby and they just happened to be having a bird interaction time. They all got to have their photos taken with the parrots and we so happy about that. I think the birds were quite heavy, but Claire didn't mind having both on her arms!

Puerto Rico

We had to fly to Puerto Rico to board the cruise line. This is us and our friends Maureen and Grace enjoying the beach at the hotel next door to ours (because our hotel was terrible!).

Christmas card

Another stamp by inkadinkadoo (found at Carousel Rubber Stamps). I used the nestablilities scallop rectangle and some crystals to decorate the snowflakes.

Inkadinkdoo reindeer is so pretty! I stamped in SU! Baja Breeze, and used their paper as well. My goal is to make 5 Christmas cards a month so that I'm not scrambling next December to get my cards done!

sei word album

My first mini album. This one is by sei with sei papers. Dejah from the Carousel wanted me to make a couple of samples using these albums for her store. It was easy to do, I put Christmas pictures on the inside and a little journaling, added rub ons and flowers to the front. Overall, I'm happy with the outcome, I hope she is too!

Elzybells

My daughters went to a birthday party today and this is the card I gave the little girl. I paper pieced the dress on the Elzybells, paper is all Stampin Up! I used shimmer chalk, SU! markers and copic spica pens to color the image.

I just love these Stampendous bees. I found this stamp at the LSS Carousel Rubber Stamps (www.carouselrubberstamps.com) Colored them in with tombow markers and used oval nestabilities to cut the ovals.

I took this beautiful photo of my 2 girls while we were on a family trip down south (St. Thomas, butterfly farm). Fancy pants pp, prima flowers with basic grey brads, grungeboard title and butterfly, sponged with SU! ink.

Another one of my favorite christmas cards this year. The stamp is by another Canadian company, Artful Stamper. Embossed in gold, watercolored with SU! inks, stampin up! paper and ribbon.

My youngest daughter at the Toronto Zoo this summer. Almost everything for this layout came from http://www.scraptivity.com/ The wings and arrow are grungeboard by Tim Holtz painted with USArtquest paints.

Sunshine Designs

Night Village is one of my favorite Christmas stamps by Canadian company Sunshine Designs. I gold embossed this on watercolor paper and then used tombows to color in, stickles on the snow and gold marker to edge the whole design.

LOVE

Here is a layout I did as guest designer for Scraptivity! They have an awesome online store, monthly kits and challenges. The paper is bobunny and the flowers, brads, and buttons are from the Making Memories mocha paperie collection. My daughter is almost 7 now, but I've always loved this picture, taken by Slice of Life photography here in Nova Scotia.
