It's time for Amy's
Spring Bloggers quilt festival, so I decided to enter this gray/aqua/red quilt. She has hundreds of quilt link ups on her blog, and they are all so beautiful! This is my most recent quilt finish, and to be honest, I haven't had a chance to start anything else! Too busy with smaller sewing projects I guess. I used a tutorial from Fresh Lemon quilts, and just made it more of a baby/lap quilt size. I love the bright pops of color against the ash background, and used some leftovers to make a pretty strip of color on the back. Now, time to drool over all the other gorgeous quilts in the gallery!
