A few more cards to add to my stash. I made more than one of each, my newest stamp set is the Postage Due set from Stampin Up! I inked the stamp in crumb cake first, then used different markers to add color to certain areas of the stamp. I'm loving the die-cut butterflies (thanks Suzanne for helping cut them out). The bottom photo is another paper covered journal. I think those could become highly addictive....But really, I'm thinking of gifts for my daughters friends for birthdays etc. Super cute, and would be easy to personalize.

So Fun!
I had some errands to run this morning, and lots to do this afternoon, so only got to play in my craft room for a bit. Made these 2 covered journals, and I must say it is great fun to decorate these otherwise boring notebooks!! My oldest daughter was quick to lay claim to my first one in the post below, but we may have to make her a duplicate! I'll be putting these on my table for the show.

Paper Covered Journal
I think I am actually done of the amount of sewing I wanted to get done for the craft fair. Now, I'll focus a bit more on my paper craft section, some cards and also some covered journals. I made this one today, and am really pleased with how it turned out.
The butterflies are die-cuts from SU! I bought the washi tape, the polka dot paper, and the little beads from My Stamping Studio. Really cute project, expect to see a few more on here!!

On the home stretch.....
This is the final push for fair items. I made this chenille blanket yesterday with this cute boy fabric.
These drawstring bags were requested by a local speech therapist that she will use during her sessions. I tried to make them a little more gender neutral.

And, I also made this basket yesterday as my donation to the ECMC fair raffle. Most of the vendors have donated items to put in the basket, tickets will be sold and 100% of the money will go to Adsum house which is a local women's shelter.
That is what I have to share today on this rainy Wednesday. Fingers crossed for sunshine on Sunday!!!

Patchwork Blankie
New scarf fabric!
I finished up a few more scarves last night. I like to handstitch the last opening so there are no seams showing on the finished product.
Beautiful beige with a tiny gold pin dot. This was a custom order, so sold already! Vanilla, hot coral, pink and grey strip. So soft on your neck, but not too bulky, great for summer.
This floral scarf has a ton of colors in it and would match with a huge variety of outfits.
This is grey, with a rainbow stripe and just a hint of sparkle in it.
Remember to check out a complete list of vendors for the upcoming ECMC fair here. Most of the vendors have either a website, or a facebook page to showcase their awesome creations.
Still have more planned for today, not sure what I'll finish up, I may be back today to post again-depends how quick I am!!

Infinity Scarves
And on another note, a selection of my scarves is now available at Emmett and Ellie's in Charlottetown, PEI. You can check out her amazing store on her Facebook page here.
Hard at Work!
Thought I would share a few things today. I custom ordered this hutch last summer, and I absolutely love it! It is actually a light green, but it's coming off yellow in this photo. Anyhow, the bottom is filled with quilts I've received as gifts, and ones that I have made. The top is a mix of new and antique pieces. Rick Elwood of Ruff-Stuff Woodworking made it for me, out of reclaimed windows and I supplied the door he used for the sides.
So, I have a huge list of stuff I want to make before the fair, but today I wanted to do something totally different! I had made 2 of these wallets/pencil cases for my girls before, and I love the patchwork with the linen. I'll put these on my table for this fair, found the tutorial at Little Big Girl blog.
Last, but not least, I had a few requests for some rice bags, so I have slowly been putting those together over the last few days. My rice bag is my best friend, I had a seriously sore shoulder last night (too much sewing perhaps?) and cuddled up for most of the evening with it!!

Toadstool Quilt
Hooray! I finished this little quilt tonight, just in time to gift it for a baby shower next Sunday. This will be for a friends second baby, not sure what they are having so I decided to go for primary colors. I hope this is considered gender neutral! I'm in love with the little toadstool homes, I've used this fabric for smaller projects, but not in a quilt before. I love it! I didn't really plan out the design, just made a ton of HST's then played around with the colors until I liked it. Hope the new baby will too!

Special Order
This week I made 10 drawstring bags from the pattern I bought from Jeni at In Color Order. It's the snack size bag, just the right size for the ECMC Mom who requested them! She is Mandy from HomeGrownGoods and she makes homemade play-doh, homemade sidewalk chalk and crayons that she molds into really cool shapes like robots, lego pieces (that actually click together) and little butterflies and boats etc. She plans on having these at the fair filled up with her awesome activities for kids.
Today, I'm finishing up some heat/therapy bags, so may be back later for another post!! Any I'm anxiously waiting for another delivery of chevron fabric.....

Passport Wallets
I bought this pattern a long time ago from Amber at One Shabby Chick. I had all intentions of making these for the winter fairs I was in for all the snowbirds to use, but just didn't get around to it until today. And I love them.
Anyhow, I'm so pleased to have made all 4 of these today, I wish everyone a great weekend!! Linking up to Finish it up Friday at Crazy Mom Quilts.
This fabric is so cute for travel items, I think my favorite is the camera design (that one may have to be mine for our summer vacation plans). Here is a photo of the inside:
No more searching frantically in my black lined purse for our black passports!! I can't tell you how many times I was certain I had lost one of them, actually I did lose both our passports at the Philadelphia airport in January, but that's another story...Anyhow, I'm so pleased to have made all 4 of these today, I wish everyone a great weekend!! Something new...
I've been working on some new items for the upcoming Spring Fair and wanted to be able to use both fabric and my love of paper crafts for the same item. So, I made up some luggage tags (or for backpacks) that will make your luggage stand out from the sea of black suitcases going around the carousel at the airport.
And isn't that little box I found at Nest super cute to display them in?

Also restocking crayon wallets. "Boy" fabric has come a long way since I started sewing. So much nicer, I personally don't care for commercialized fabric such as Disney characters or any of the superheros, so I'm loving all the awesome designs out there for both boys and girls.
Hope you all are having a great day!
