Newfoundland Vacation

The girls went to Newfoundland without us this year, while we went on a vacation by ourselves. Nanny and Poppy kept them very busy with festivals and parties, I don't think they missed us much!

Catamaran tour

We went to St. John Island via catamaran when we visited St. Thomas. It was the most beautiful, unspoiled beach and water I've ever seen. Steve did some snorkeling and was amazed by all the fish he saw.

Here we are at Johnny Rockets aboard the cruise ship, enjoying old-fashioned milkshakes, burgers, fries and onion rings!! I hosted an all day scrapbook crop today and finished 6 layouts, I'll post some more tomorrow.

Christmas Again!

I've met my New Year's Resolution again this month! 5 Christmas cards a month so that I'm not scrambling next December! I love this Stampendous angel, I used tombows to color her in, this shimmerz paints to color the flowers (they were originally a creme color). On her wings in shimmerz in Angel Wings (very fitting!!)

Halloween 2008

Here is a layout from Halloween. I used Stampin Up! Rockabilly papers (love the colors) and of course some grungeboard (bats and pumpkin). I quite like this page, fun for Halloween.

Curacao

New basic gray paper that I bought at the Carousel. I purchased 2 pieces and then cut out the butterflies, added some shimmerz paints to the wings and pop dotted them in place! This was a picture I took as we got off the cruise ship in December.

Wish Big

Here is my entry for week #9 at 52 sketches. Most of the paper is October Afternoon, grungeboard snowflakes painted with distress paint, stickles and MM buttons in the center.

Disco Divas!!

Here's our outfits from the 70's party we went to in October. Steve wanted to be a go-go girl, not sure if he pulled it off-but man he is one ugly woman!! The scan didn't show the little circles very well, irl it's actually silver mirror paper and looks like little disco balls.
