I've had a few people ask me to make them a pouch for their iphones, so I finally went down to the sewing room today and made them. I put pellon fusible fleece between the layers so that it helps protect the phone, I know I've dropped mine more than once and was glad it was inside it's little pouch.

Coin quilt
I've had the top of this quilt done for over 6 months! Finally just getting around to quilting and binding it. My friend is having a baby boy in May, so this is my gift to her. I'm almost certain that she doesn't check this blog, hope not! I used the coin quilt tutorial from Allison at Cluck Cluck sew.

SSSC 109
I used sketch 109 from the sweetest thing blog for the inspiration for this card. The stamp is from Stamping Bella, SU! paper, and the vine on the bottom is from the hostess Apple Blossum set by SU! I may also use this as my 3rd card for an upcoming Stamp a stack in May that myself and some friends are hosting. Participants make 24 cards in a day, 12 different designs, leave a comment if you want details!

Bellarific Friday
So, I finally made a card last night for the first time in forever!! I followed the sketch for Bellarific Friday this week and wanted to keep the background simple to let the stamped image take center stage! I embossed the balloon, then painted it with twinkling H2O's, then added ranger glossy effects on the daisy. I love pink and orange together, this is for a little girls bday that my kids are invited to this weekend.

Jack's crayon wallet
I made another one of these wallets for our little friend Jack (he's 4). He'll be starting school in September, so I thought maybe he could practice his letters in the little notepad. I found some robot/space stickers at Michael's, then decided he needed his wallet to be a space theme to go with the stickers!
Canvas Art
I wanted to make a little something special for Claire, since her 9th birthday is on Thursday. She loves to get "homemade" items, and since she sees everything I make, I wanted to try something I've never done before. I had an extra 8x8 canvas, painted it yellow, then cut out some felt flowers with my cuttlebug and hand cut the stems. Then I added the butterfly (SU! butterfly die). It's cute, she can hang it in her room, hope she likes it.

Zippered Clutch
Yesterday, after making a sunglass case for Michelle, I was still in the mood to make a little project so I made this clutch. I follow a blog called Noodlehead, and she has some fabulous tutorials on her blog, one of which is this clutch. So for my first attempt it's not bad, I made a few mistakes (mostly the zipper, only my 3rd time placing a zipper) so I think I know how to correct it the next time. Charlotte has claimed this one already, so I'll soon try the pattern again and hopefully no mistakes!
