I made this quilt for Claire when she moved into her big bed. It took me over a year to finish, all those little triangles to sew into squares and working full-time with a 2 year old didn't leave a lot of extra time to sew. Then I sent it out to get quilted on a long arm machine when I was 8 months pregnant with baby #2, best decision ever. She even put the binding on and slip stitched it for me, and embroidered a patch on the inside with her name, date and a little note from me. I'm linking this over to the Quiltstory blog for Fabric Tuesday today.

Came out great! Thanks for the eye candy.
Beautiful quilt - such lovely colours!
What a pretty quilt for a growing girl. She will have a keepsake full of happy memories now.
