WIP Wednesday

Pin ItHooray!  I've started piecing a new baby quilt.  This will be a gift for my husband's business partner.  They are expecting their 2nd child in May, trying to go for gender neutral, and I've been hoarding this toadstool fabric for just the right quilt.  Had lots of time to piece my HST's over the storm weekend.  All the blocks are done, just have to sew them into rows and decide if I want to border it or not.  I don't want the quilt to be large, rather to be used in the stroller or car seat.

Monday, my shipment of chevron jersey knit arrived so yesterday was spent cutting and sewing this beautiful fabric into infinity scarves.  Still lots more to finish, but I did get a good start on it yesterday.  I'm so in love with these colors.  I have a few more I haven't cut into yet, that will be this afternoons project!

Linking up to the Needle and Thread Network today and Freshly Pieced!

I was thinking of using HST's in a baby boy quilt (he's due in 9 weeks time) and seeing your blocks has probably persuaded me! Lovely fabrics, so bright and cheerful, I'm sure they'll love it :o)
