Lots to share....

While wandering around Pinterest the other night I came across a tutorial from Stumble and Stitch and I just had to make some fabric ornaments.  She had just the stockings, but I decided to try a candy cane, bell and a heart as well.  I love these little ornaments, so bright and cheery.

I'm still getting ready for my craft fairs, and decided to make some sets of pot holders/hot pads.  They are totally reversible and have insulated batting on both sides so the heat shouldn't go through them at all.

One more owl blankie and bib set to add to the fair table.  Love this fabric!

And last, but not least, I bought this stamp at Kelly's store My Stamping Studio last week while at the Stamp-a-Stack.  I used tombows on watercolor paper to color this image.  So cute, I love the little birds, they are so cheery and this can be a Christmas card or a winter card.

I found a new linky to visit on Mondays.  Sarah at Alderberry Hill has an awesome blog, and she's from Newfoundland!  We're practically neighbors! And I'll be joining the parties at Quiltstory and The Needle and Thread Network too!

Glitter Ornaments

After school, we made a few glitter ornaments for our tree (and maybe a few gifts!). These are so easy, just put pledge floor finish in the glass ball, drain out the excess, dump in the glitter and shake to cover the entire inside of the ball. And voila- a beautiful set of ornaments!

Snow Globes

So, last night I was roaming around on the internet and found a photo of some lovely " snow globes" on Pinterest. The original blog post can be found here. Today, I went to the craft store and picked up the jars, the trees, snowmen and penguins. The deer and racoon are animals from our Playmobil collection. For the snow I used sugar. Super cute in person, and the girls had fun making the little scenes inside.

I found a new blog called the Magic Onions (just purchased from her Etsy shop). Really cute needle felting, waiting on some acorns for my tree!
