How cute is this crayon holder??

Here it is rolled up, and when it's unrolled all the crayons are there, in one place. And I find kids love to have little organizers of their own, Charlotte uses one, then replaces it before she chooses another color. It would fit little pipsqueak markers too I think.

My new obsession now, making these little crayon holders, so far I've made 4 in 2 days! 2 are birthday presents, and Charlotte claimed one as her own. I think I may make some more to sell in November at the craft fair in PEI.

TESC115

This is a card I made this morning for a b-day party Claire was invited to. I followed the sketch from the Taylored Expressions blog TESC115. It's a huggabugg image by Christy Croll who draws for Stamping Bella! All the patterned paper is October Afternoon, and the cardstock is Stamping Up!

Bellarific Friday May 21

I used the sketch from Bloggabella to make this cute card for a b-day party we went to today. The paper is Cosmo Cricket, and I used prismas to color her in. I really like the softness of the card, so girly but without the pink. The blue shading around the image is pebbles shimmer chalk.

Thank you card

This is a thank you card for Claire's Sunday school teacher. Her last day is on Sunday, so I thought an Angel (stamping up) would be appropriate! Also, some beautiful glitter ritz on her wings, but I know it's hard to see on a scan.

50's Rock and Roll Dance

Steve and I went to a dance Saturday night that was 50's themed, and costumes were encouraged! It was tons of fun, we danced a lot, and the band was fabulous. Definitely will be going next year too. Steve will have to let his hair grow a little more, make a bouffant in the front!

Mother's Day cards

A little late to be going into the mail for Mother's Day, but what can I say, sometimes life is too busy for hobbies. Anyhow, I know my Mom and Mother-in-law will enjoy the cards regardless of the day they show up in the mailbox! This is a stamp by Sunshine Designs that I painted in with H2O's. It is also based on the TESC111 sketch.

Bella card

Here's a little card that I may teach for Carousel in May. I used prismacolor pencils and shimmer chalk around the glass to shade.

Scraptivity May kit

Here is the entire kit by Scraptivity for May. Below are samples I made with the kit this month.

S! may kit card

Here is my card with items from the May kit. I made the flower from paper towels that I spritzed with glimmer mist, then cut out with scalloped circle spellbinders. Each layer was scrunched up, them glued with Ranger's glossy accents.

My sister Susan!

So after 3 years of talking about it, we finally got to Disney with Susan and Ryan! Lots of fun for out 2 families to be able to spend a whole week together!

A close up of the lollipop flowers I made with a combination of the 2 glimmer mists from the kit and a coffee filter (also from the kit!)

Nature

Some photos I took at Epcot center in Disney-trying out my new photography skills. I really like the one of the butterfly in focus and the background blurry. So this is all paper, and butterfly stamp from the kit (even the pearls). It is packed with extras this month!

An up close photo of the heart flower.

This one is so lumpy in real life, that I can't scan it with the scanner! Anyhow, more lovely paper by Kaiser in this layout, and that ribbon is beautiful. I made all the flowers on here, one from heart punches, one from curled paper, and one out of tulle.
