Amanda's Wedding Card

One of Steve`s employees is getting married on Saturday, so I made this card for her last night. The stamp is by Stamping Bella, the circle doiley is a Martha Stewart die-cut. I used pebbles shimmer chalk on her dress and I used the latest sketch (SSC 123) from the blog The Sweetest Thing!

Work in Progress

I`ve had this quilt top made for over 6 months and cannot decide how I want to quilt it. Maybe horizontal straight lines, 1/2 inch apart. Not sure...so I`ve just had it folded up on my shelf, waiting for inspiration. I love the bright colors in it, and how the red pops. So, now that I`m listing it as a work in progress and linking it over to the Freshly Pieced blog, I`ll be forced to do something with it!

Claire`s Quilt

I made this quilt for Claire when she moved into her big bed. It took me over a year to finish, all those little triangles to sew into squares and working full-time with a 2 year old didn't leave a lot of extra time to sew. Then I sent it out to get quilted on a long arm machine when I was 8 months pregnant with baby #2, best decision ever. She even put the binding on and slip stitched it for me, and embroidered a patch on the inside with her name, date and a little note from me. I'm linking this over to the Quiltstory blog for Fabric Tuesday today.

Wedding Cards

Here are 2 cards that I think would be great for weddings. The stamps are by Stampin Up!, the cake is from a set that retired in 2006 called Sweet Treats. The Eiffel tower stamp is in the current catalogue under the set name Artistic Etchings.

Amy Butler Lotus pouch

Ok, so I have a serious addiction to these little bags. They are easy to make and so cute, and a great way to use up little squares of fabric. Anyhow, all the bags I`ve made these past few days are gifts, except for the 1st two I made (those are for me!)

Large cosmetic bags

Yesterday, it poured rain here (suprising, I know) so instead of doing things around the house I made these 2 bags instead! They are for a friends 2 teenage daughters. One of them is very interested in Japan, so I was happy to find asian inspired fabric. They turned out pretty large, so they could be used for anything, not just cosmetics. Anyhow, today also happens to be Fabric Tuesday at Quiltstory, so these bags will be linked up there. Great place to get inspired!

Bella wedding card

A friend of ours is getting married on Saturday, so I made this card for her. The stamp is by Stamping Bella, I used pebbles shimmer chalk on the dress which gives it a nice sparkle. Hard to tell in the photo though.

Zippered pouches

I`ve had this fabric for awhile now, and I desperately needed new cosmetic bags so I followed a tutorial for the larger bag from Noodlehead blog. For the smaller pouch, I used an Amy Butler pattern. So cute and easy, I`ll be making more of these soon!

Another apron!

Here is another reversible Emmeline Apron (pattern by Sew Liberated). The fabric with the roses is Amy Butler, which one of our local fabric shops started selling recently. I really like the bright colors, it`s feels very spring/summer, and today it is finally sunny out!

Charlotte`s Quilt

Here is a quilt I made for Charlotte when she moved to her big bed. I normally just have it folded at the end of her bed, and have never really taken a photo of it. I really like the way the bright colors pop against the black fabric. I`m linking this over to fabric tuesdays at Quiltstory.

SU! cards for June class

On Wednesday, I`m finally doing another card class-I don`t know where the time goes! It's almost summer, girls are done of school in another week and a half. I thought I would accomplish so much more as far as crafting goes this past winter, but that is not the case! Anyhow, all supplies above are SU! except the Robin`s nest dew drops and the stickles.
