I finished my mini quilt last night, so thought I would share today. I mainly wanted to make this quilt to practice the blanket stitch on my sewing machine. Then I hand quilted with white perle cotton, size 8 around the dresses and clouds, the clothesline is navy hand quilting thread. Perle cotton is a little hard to source locally, I could only find neutral colors so far. The border was just scraps sewn together and attached to the sides, I didn't plan any of the colors first. I wanted something bright and fun-this was supposed to go in my laundry room, but I might need to put this in my sewing room instead.
