Work in Progess

This idea was inspired by the tree pillow at Cluck Cluck Sew. I`m going to put a border around it, and add some chenille backing and ribbon tags. It`s a great way to use up scraps of favorite fabric. I have a fabric glue stick that I`ll use to stick on the shapes, then raw edge applique around the leaves. Likely try to sew this tonight or tomorrow, this afternoon is a beach day!

I`m linking this to w.i.p Wednesday at the Freshly Pieced Blog.

I love projects like this, but I'm not brave enough to do my own. This is so very pretty!! Look at your little owl :) Well done.

Very pretty. And - - BEACH!!! Maybe I'll "drag" my 13yo out there today. Oh, wait - volunteer shift. Tomorrow, then. :D

The Australian gal who originated this design has such awesome work! I've been tempted by it as well. I need to get to the beach this year--good for you for stepping away from the machine and taking the time.
