New Chenille blankies

I love this fabric, it's called Baby Safari.

I had an order for some chenille blankets, so this one is gender neutral for the one baby who is due at the end of the month (also Baby Safari). It's the first time I sew chenille on my new Pfaff machine and I must say, it was much easier with the new machine.

I'll be linking this to Quiltstory today.

I love these - they are cute! What is chenille?? Is it the backing fabric? I usually call that backing fabric minky fabric - are they the same?? I hopped over from Quilt Story - thanks for sharing! =)

These look super soft, I could do with one of those right now. I also hopped over from Quilt Story. Kxx

Very cute! I'm always afraid the chenille will be too slippery and slide around when I'm quilting. Is it not?

Stopping by from Quilt Story's link-up.
