DIY fabric organizers

I've been wanting a better way to organize my little fabric stash for awhile, so after doing some research (blog surfing) I came upon a few people who had made their own mini-bolts with comic board backs. They are acid free, very sturdy and the size I used was 81/2 x 11. I love the result. I only bought 1 pack of 50, since I wanted try it out first, but I'll have to go back for some more. I can't believe how much more will fit on a shelf!

And I have at least 3 meters and a couple of the bolts, so they are quite sturdy. I did use a small dressmakers pin to secure the end. So, not much sewing this weekend, too busy with all the birthday celebrations for my little girl. Today, gym first, then sew!!

Hi! I came across your blog and love all the great ideas you have! I was wondering if you could tell me where you bought your comic board backs? I have been wanting to try this type of organizing for a long time and haven't been able to find the size of board backs you have described. Thanks!
