Granny Square craze...

If you follow many quilt blogs, you'll know that this little granny square is causing quite a stir in the sewing world. It all started with Jolene from Blue Elephant Stitches posting a couple of blocks she had made with scrap fabric. Everyone fell in love with the blocks, and now there is a quilt-a-long on flickr at the Old Red Barn flickr group. I'm joining in, it's a fantastic way to use up scraps that you don't have the heart to get rid of. Here's my first two, and I'll be sharing at Freshly Pieced today as well.

Absolutely love these! I just joined up with that flickr group too and hope to be starting my squares in the next week or two.

Your blocks look fabulous, Jeanette! Love the colors you've chosen. I think I may be giving in to that QAL sometime soon!
